Fishes for Heated Freshwater Aquarium: Many go for this option due to the better choice in the fishes that they can get. The temperature needs to be generally kept between 72-82 degrees Fahrenheit.
Danios: These are small and active and are pretty robust. They thrive in groups and most stay very close to the surface of the water. The bright colored stripes on them will catch your eye as they move around near the top. Another advantage is that they are not fussy eaters.
Black Molly: This one loves its peace and will do if you have a tank with many types of fishes. These fish are really able to adapt to any type of water too. They reproduce a lot if you buy fishes of both genders but have a tendency to eat their offspring if they do not have enough place to hide out.
Black Skirt Tetra: This again is one that loves its peace and does well when paired or kept in a bigger group. They are robust and non fussy eaters. They tend to linger in the middle portion of the tank and tend to stay away from conflicts. They will do well if you have lots of places for them to hide in the tank.
Kuhli Loach: These look very much like eels and stay at the bottom part of the tank and do not come out much during day time. They are good at cleaning the tank by eating food that falls to the bottom but do provide them with food other than that.
