As per a study conducted by the Purina Pet institute almost 43% of people who have dogs as pets, tend to celebrate the birthday of their pets. When it comes to people with feline pets, the percentage of people celebrating their pets’ birthdays comes to about 29%. As per an article in Psychology today that was done by Stanley Coren, PhD there was an online survey conducted by Kelton Research had 1000 people questioned about this.

1. Apparently, 81% of people with pet dogs know their pet’s birthday.
2. About 77% of people with dogs celebrated their pet’s birthday by getting their pet a nice present for their birthday.

If you are the kind who loves your pet a lot will tell you that the years pass very quickly. It will almost seem moments from the time the pet dog is a puppy full of fun and frolic  to the time it becomes a fully grown up dog. This is the case with most dog owners, never mind that the dog is trained to become a guide dog for blind people.
