Watching an animal eating the food they love can be a joy to behold. While we humans tend not to think of animals in terms of having tastes and preferences, the fact is that they do. And when they come across this favorite food one can almost see the gleeful expression they get on their faces as they rush to sink their teeth into them.
Here we give some of the known favorite foods of animals:
- Rabbits love crunching on carrots and not for health purposes
- Mice are drawn to cheese that smell strong
- Dogs are known to spend hours gnawing bones
- Bears show a marked preference for honey
- Horses tend to enjoy munching on hay
- Kittens can be seen lapping up milk with relish
- Elephants literally salivate when they come to a field of sugarcane
- Seals tend to eat their fish with a lot of enjoyment
- Ducks do enjoy their snack of bread
- Pandas are very partial to bamboo
