Dorothea Lange quoted – “Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still”. It is an art and a science; it is a language that is understood by any at any part of the world. Photographs tell a story, that sometimes words fail to describe. This photograph depicts a dead black rhino bull. It was assumed that they shot the animal while entering the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve at night. They then hacked the two horns of the animal and escaped. This image received the Wildlife Photographer of the Year award in 2017

The Good Life – Daniel Nelson, The Netherlands

It was taken in Odzala National Park in the Republic of Congo and received the Young Wildlife Photographer of the year award. Namely, Caco can be seen happily and contently be feasting upon a fleshy breadfruit. This received the best wildlife Animal photography award in the Animal Portraits category. Peter had spent a long difficult morning tracking chimpanzees at Uganda’s Kibale National Park. It was captured when the Chimpanzee lied down with the sadness of the unrequited love.

The Ancient Ritual – Brian Skerry, USA

The photo won the best wildlife photography award in the Amphibians and Reptiles category. Leatherbacks are the largest, deepest – diving and widest-ranging sea turtles. However, they return to the land when they hatch eggs. This photo was taken at Sandy Point National Wildlife Refuge on St. Croix. The Night Raider – Marcio Cabral, Brazil

This photograph won the best award in Animal in their Environment Category. Marcio while camping out in the Cerrado Region, on the treeless savannah of Emas National Park, clicked beetle larvae living in the outer layers of the mounds.

Giant Gathering – Tony Wu, USA

This photograph was taken when dozens of sperm whales mingled noisily at Sri Lanka’s northeast coast.

The Jelly Fish Jockey – Anthony Berberian, France

This received the best wildlife photography award in the Underwater Category. This was taken in an open ocean located far off from Tahiti, French of Polynesia. He clicked the photography while one of his night divings instant around 1.2 miles deep.

Polar Pas De Deux – Eilo Elvinger, Luxembourg

This received the best wildlife photography award in the black and white category. Eilo spotted a polar bear along with her two-year-old cub in the distance from her ship which was anchored at Svalbard in Arctic Norway. Animals different color provides them security from predators its really hard to copy texture of animals naturally painted by God.

Palm Oil Survivors – Aaron “Bertie” Gekoski, Uk/USA

Three generations of Bornean elephants were found to cross the terraces of an oil – palm plantation in the Malaysian state of Sabah which was being cleared for replanting. This photograph won the best wildlife photography award in the Single Image category.

Crab Surprise – Justin Gilligan, Australia

Justin Gilligan was documenting a University of Tasmania kelp transplant experiment and was taken aback by this giant aggregation of giant spider crabs and a maori octopus amidst all of them confused on choosing a crab for it’s feast. This got the best award in the Invertebrates category.
