You know there are a huge number of animal species existing all over the world, but birds are the most widespread of all animals. There are about 9500 species of birds around the world which are classified into 30 categories. Birds are one of the six basic groups of animals and they are mainly characterized by their feather coats and the ability to fly. But among all their numbers, 2/3rd of all the bird species are found in the tropical rainforest. So it can be concluded that most of the birds can be found in the tropical rainforests.

Do you know about the oldest discovered bird? It was known as an Archaeopteryx and lived about 150 million years ago in the world. It was about the size of a raven, was covered with feathers, and had wings. Kiwi is the only bird in the world, which have no wings. Now talking about the eggs, the smallest egg is of the hummingbird and the largest egg is of the ostrich. So can you just imagine the smallest and the largest one.
