Healthy Recipes for Your Pet Dog:
Frozen Yogurt Pops:
Ingredients – 1 container full of frozen yogurt, 1 cup full of sugar free fruit juice and half cup minced carrot.
Directions – Take a big bowl and add the yogurt, fruit juice and minced carrots and stir it to make a smooth blend. Now take a plastic ice cube tray and fill it with the blended mixture with spoon. Freeze it for 2-3 hours. Serve cool to your pet.
Ingredients – half cup plain yogurt, half cup diced strawberries, half cup diced blueberries and half cup of apple sauce.
Directions – Take a medium sized bowl and add yogurt, strawberries, blueberries and apple sauce. Now stir it for a long time so that the mixture gets well blended. Remember the fruits should be small diced. Now serve a small amount to your pet for few days. And store the rest in refrigerator.
Ingredients – 2 chicken breasts, 3 cup chicken broth, half cup tomato juice, 1 cup diced carrot, 1 cup of drained kidney beans and 1 cup of drained black beans.
Directions – Cut the chicken breasts into small pieces and remember to remove the fats from it. Now cook the chicken pieces into a non-stick pan till it becomes light pink. Now take another pan and add cooked chicken pieces, chicken broth, carrots, kidney beans, black beans and tomato juice. Cook all these together for another few minutes. Now after the cooking is done allow it to cool down. Now serve this yummy dish to your pet.
Fruits and vegetable Strips:
Ingredients – Half big banana, 1 cup minced carrots, 1 small sweet potato, 1 cup rolled oats, 2 cups of wheat flour, half cup water and half cup sugar free apple sauce.
Directions – Cook the sweet potato for few minutes until it becomes soft. Now keep the cooked sweet potatoes aside to cool. Now take the banana and sweet potato in a medium sized bowl and mash it till it becomes smooth. Add the carrots, oats, apple sauce, flour and water and make dough. Now take a big paper sheet and drop dry wheat in it. Add the dough and roll it over the wheat. Roll it till it becomes thick. Then cut the dough into strips. Cook the strips in top of a baking sheet. After cooking keep it aside to cool. You can store it in refrigerator for a week and serve it.
Peanut Butter Cookies:
Ingredients – 2 cup wheat flour, half cup peanut butter, half tbsp of fish oil, 1 cup of rolled oats, 1 tbsp of honey and one and a half cup water.
Directions – Take big bowl and add flour and rolled oats and mix it well. Add the water and blend it until it becomes smooth. Add honey, peanut butter and fish oil and mix it until all the ingredients become well blended. Now apply flour on the cooking surface and make a thick sheet. Cut the sheet into desired cookie shape and cook in a baking sheet for 40 mins. Allow the cookies to cool and then serve it.
Beef and Vegetable balls:
Ingredients – 3 cups of vegetable baby food, 2 cups of organic beef, 1 cup of wheat flour, 2 cups milk and 1 cup of water.
Directions – Mix all the ingredients in a medium sized bowl. Add the mixture into baking sheet with large spoon. Bake it for 15 minutes and then allow it to cool before serving.
Ingredients – 4 chicken breasts, half cup of chopped green beans, half cup of chopped carrot, half cup of chopped broccoli, half cup rolled oats and 4 cups of low salt chicken broth.
Directions – The direction is same as Dog chili. Just follow the same steps.
Ingredients – 1 small sweet potato, 1 pound of small pieced beef stew meat, half cup carrot, half cup green beans, half cup wheat flour and half cup of vegetable oil.
Directions – Boil the sweet potatoes until the inner portion becomes soft. Now heat vegetable oil in a pan and cook the small pieces of stew meat. Remove the meat pieces aside after cooking. Now dice the sweet potato and add flour and water into the heated pan to make thick gravy. Add the meat, sweet potato, carrot and green beans into the gravy. Cook for 10 minutes and then serve cool.
Turkey and Vegetable Dinner:
Ingredients – 4 cups of water, 2 cups brown rice, 1 cup ground turkey, 1 cup carrots, 1 cup green beans and 1 tbsp of fish oil.
Directions – Cook the turkey in a non- stick pan until the meat is cooked. Add the brown rice, turkey and water in a pot to boil. Boil it till the rice is cooked. After that, add the green beans and carrot in the mixture and cook for another 15 minutes. Cool it and serve.
Ingredients – 3-4 chicken breasts.
Directions – Remove the excess fat from the chickens and cut the chicken breasts into thick strips. Bake the chicken on baking sheet for about 2 hours. Now check the chicken before removing that it has became hard and dry. Serve cool.
