You probably know about the objective of the game hide and seek. It’s not at all a complicated one. One hides and the other seeks. The only objective of the hider is to hide and the seeker is seeking. But that is so much easy for us humans. But, what about when you see any animal playing the same thing with you? So when an animal includes itself in the game, it becomes a bit moody. Animals will obviously try to hide themselves but often they will fail to fully grasp themselves. As they don’t have a mere idea what will hide their whole body so often this becomes very funny. But here we will talk about this funny side of animals.
Pictures of Animal Playing Hide and Seek:
Animals can really understand most of your activity. Specially the pet ones are really very intelligent. Actually from our very childhood, we learn this game and play it just for our fun in a great mood. But animals really play this from a different perspective. For them the perspective is more than a game. In most of the cases animals play hide and seek in the wild for the matter of life and death. This is just because to save themselves from the predators they are facing.
Prey animals often use camouflage to hide from their predators. This is a type of hide and seeks to them. Camouflage is a way to hide an animal by blending with the environment and go unnoticed by the predators. But the main fact is that there are four main ways by which animals camouflage. The most common and the first one is that they hide themselves by saying against a background that matches their color. Scientifically this process is known as “Concealing Coloration”.
Again some animals have permanent and unique markings in their body such as spots, stripes, patterns etc. Actually we think that these markings will really make them stand out of everything. But the fact is more interesting. These markings can really help them break their outline so that they don’t look very attractive. This process is known as “Disruptive Coloration”. For example you have seen the stripes of the Zebras and they are so attractive but actually they are made in such a way that these stripes will help to blend in with everything. So this keeps them
safe in the wild.
There are also some clever animals that really blend them with their surroundings by looking like a common object. We call this method as “disguise”. There are many animals that follow this method. For example an insect known as “Walking Stick” is an insect that looks really like a branch which makes really impossible to spot them in the wild. So now the last method of hide and seek among the animals is called “Mimicry”. This is a very interesting process that keeps a particular animal looks like another dangerous and poisonous animal or insect. This can really save the life of that animal.
So you now know about all the process by which animals play hide and seek in the wild. But what about the pictures that you have seen here? Isn’t it really interesting and funny? Yes that’s the only reason we have collected all the pictures here so that you can spend some really good time with this article if you are an animal lover. It will really help you spend some time with it. Another fact is that you will really feel that these animals are really playing hide and seek with you.
